I've just checked this out - my highest ever finish is 2nd (twice I believe).

The last time I did that was, wait for it, 13 years ago......

Ben, I had no time to pick a team before the first games kicked off and coming off a 2 week holiday / wedding period I also hadn't a clue who'd signed for who. Actually I haven't a clue who half of the players are and in fact the 20 minutes of Spurs v Liverpool that I saw last Sunday was the first Premier League football I've seen all season. And I can't remember the last time I watched MOTD.

Basically I haven't a clue! (Not that I ever did....)

Rob, what do you mean you didn't have a chance of winning it? I reckon with your Oction record you'd actually have a better chance with a BOTR team. BOTR teams have won the league before, you just weren't confident in your own ability: Why didn't you just pick this team for example:
Begovic STO 6
E Boyce WIG 8
N Taylor SWA 9
Taylor NEW 9
Colocinni NEW 9
Larsson SUN 8
Murphy FUL 7
Anderson MU 5
Barry MC 5
Dzeko MC 20
Agbonglahor AV 11

TOTAL 97 POINTS!!!!

Silent treatment

I might have to appeal to the committee about Alex's behaviour. We all agreed that £50 million was the total resource that each team could deploy. But now in order to deploy the dreaded silent treatment, he brings the entire £300 billion backing of the NHS to bear on his poor Dad! It's just not fair :-(
But by the time he starts talking again next weekend to make his points, it will be Long Pants players who will be making my points! :)

Ray dropped in for luck today and I was surprised but pleased with him sticking to apple juice rather than the gin....I could hear the fear in his voice as ray realized Argentina are back and fighting for the title....he didn't get anything out of me as I played mind games and gave him the silent treatment!

The sharp decline in the fortunes of Brazilian football have been investigated by the Kohn Konsultancy Kompany (KKK). The KKK (famous for saying that 58.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot) announced that 95% of all Brazilian youth now spend more time following their favourite FFL team than playing the sport. The obsession with Tara a bit! has seen millions being thrown away, gambling on Ben winning the league. Pele is due to meet with Ben to persuade him to make a tv address asking that players leave their laptops and return to training. Ex-President Luiz Inacio Lula de Silva (who, like Pele, has bet heavily on a Long Pants victory) said that national humiliation in the forthcoming World Cup could only be averted by Ben.
