I'd just like to thank the cup committee for their hardwork this season and congratulate neil in a half competitve final! First trophy for a couple of years is a relief and yes the double is well and truely on!
It had to happen - after writing off Sir Alex for most of the season, the experienced old fox delivers.
In a high scoring final, Sir Alex's Argentina scored 15 points to Neil's 7 for Bottom Again.
Argentina's point scorers were: Glen Johnson 3, Nasri 2, Blake 2, Arteta 3, and Yakubu 5
Bottom Again's reply was through: Neville 3, Clichy -2, Gerrard 2, Ivanovic 1, and Defoe 3.
So the Cup is on its way from Sheffield to Nottingham - take care of it Sir Alex - it may be tacky but its full of history.
Congratulations to Sir Alex and Argentina, commiserations to Neil and Bottom Again.
The big question: Is the double on ??
All the best

I'm pretty sure Neil can help. We need to see if Neil has any of this info from his old website. I should have some back info. I think we just need to go back before the website and see if anyone has any end of season league tables from the old spreadsheets?
That would be very helpful!
[..ortunatley my yellow book went missing which had all the history of them but i think we could do a honours list of winners if we put our heads together. My memory serves me right myself and ted 3 titles, ray and allan 2 titles, neil ben jen and ruth (which was ben) 1 title and sam 1 title plus the only outsider out of the kohns and kirkmans was jamie berry last year. That's 16 winners in total the order though will need our heads putting together.
I think we will need Ben & Allan to work on that as they were the initial enthusiasts. It started when Ben suggested that a Kohn/Kirkman league would be more fun and less expensive than participation in the original magazine-based competition. Since then it has obviously become far more important than magazine & newspaper-based competitions.
Hello everyone!
I've had a little update of the site to move things around a little. What I would like though from everyone and anyone is as much history from the KPA FFL. I know Neil used to have his site that had everything on it from previous years. I'd like to build a history up for the site but would need is as much stuff as possible. Photo's previous league table etc etc. Does anyone have any of this?

The Final of the FFL Cup, sponsored by the Alzheimers Society, will take place this weekend. Results from this weekend's premier league over Saturday, Sunday and Monday will count in this year's final.
So the scene is set, Wembley is ready, and the final between Bottom Again (surrent league position 3rd) versus Argentina (Current league position 5th, but climbing fast) looks like being an eventful cracker. Watch this space - results early Tuesday - unless I forget.....
Final will be the weekend of 17th, 18th, 19th April, when there is a full Premier League fixture list.
The proposed date (9th 10th, etc) goes on into midweek, with some teams playing twice, so it wouldn't be fair, and is too difficult to sort out. So, 17 thru 19th it is!!!
By order of the Cup Management Committee.
A High scoring Premier League weekend was reflected in the semi final results, and delivered a couple of shocks .........
The results of the semi finals of the FFL Cup (Sponsored by the Alzheimers Society) are as follows:
Long Pants 6 (Vidic 3, Baines 3)
vs
Bottom Again 8 (Given 3, Clichy 2, Neville 3)
Argentina (Formerly AK-47) 23 (yes twenty-three) (Toure 3,Glen Johnson 8, Nasri 3 Tevez 9)
vs
Aaaaaadelbola 3 ( Friedel -6, Agger 3)
So, Chelsea's seven goal romp at Villa put paid to Jamie's cup run, but their decision to rest Drogba probably cost Ray a place in the final as well.
Liverpool's return to form coupled with a Tevez hat-trick, lets Sir Alex clock up a record Cup score, whilst a solid defensive performance gives Neil a wembley final appearance.
The final between Argentina and Bottom Again will take place over the weekend of 9/10/11 April.
All the best
The Cup Management Committee
The results of the quarter final matches of the FFL Cup (Sponsored by the Alzheimers Society) are as follows:
Dan Pet Rescuers 3 (Schwarzer -2, Evra 3, Lampard 2)
vs
AK 47 7 (Ferdinand 3, Johnson, 1, Yakubu 3)
Sir Bobby 3 (Taylor 3)
vs
Aaaaaadebola 5 (Friedel 3, Barry 2)
Bottom Again FC 10 (Neville 3, Pienaar 2, Defoe 5)
vs
Dancin in the Streets 3 (Green -3, Warnock 3, Nani 2, Malbranque 2)
Long Pants 15 (Vidic 3, Baines -1, Pedersen 2, Davies 5, Drogba 6)
vs
World Cup Wonders 7 (Bridge -1, Upson -3, Alex 3, Corluka 2, Rooney 6)
So,
- Sam can stop worrying about winning the superb trophy,
- Long Pants and Bottom Again are both still on for the league & cup double (at least until the semi finals - see below),
- Sir Bobby falls at the first hurdle again
- World Cup Wonders great late season run falls short in the cup, and they can concentrate on the league
- AK47 take their place in the cup semi finals, and may yet end a poor season (by their previous standards) with a trophy
- Last years champions Aaaaaaadebola can console themselves with a god cup run.
Semi Finals take place over the weekend of 27/28/29 March when the line up will be:
Bottom Again vs Long Pants
AK 47 vs Aaaadebola
All the best
