Sir Harry Hatchet Job has asked Ray to explain why he bought Van Persie. Yet again, Long Pants manager is under threat! Can any fellow managers explain why I chose him instead of my regular Kevin purchase?
Merry Christmas fellow FFL Managers. May santa bring you some goals, assists and clean sheets on Boxing Day,,,
FANNI! I cannot believe that the FFL would permit anyone with that surname to appear at the oction. I cannot imagine what others would say of a manager who was seen to be paying millions for Fanni!
!!

Personally, i'm not sure I would swap Fanni for Johnson
Now here's a thought for all of you now earnestly planning for the 2011 oction (and don't tell me you're not as I know you all are!). I made an error of judgement choosing the "star" Van Persie instead of my regular Kevin striker. If I had not been so star struck, I would be in the lead now. Who were the biggest "stars" in the 2010 oction - probably Rooney and Febregas. And one bidder bought both. And where does that team lie at the moment ... Bottom again! So the real point winners of the future are unlikely to be the celebrity stars ... what a funny old game!
I know Tilly. It's not fair. I blame the Fantasy League scorers for their blatant prejudice against Stoke. Without that, Long Pants would be flying high!
Taken from the BBC website
# 84:04 Matthew Etherington provided the assist for the goal.
# 84:04 GOAL - Dean Whitehead: Stoke 3 - 2 Birmingham A goal is scored by Dean Whitehead from inside the six-yard box to the bottom right corner of the goal. Stoke 3-2 Birmingham.
But Fantasy League gave him no assist
That sucks!
After a disaster of a fortnight, Hatchet-Job approached my wife to make her an offer! The only reason I'm still the Long Pants manager is that Pat turned down the job.
